About Us

Would you believe it if I told you I found my love of sewing and quilting after a career in welding? The joy of merging two materials together whether with fire or thread just brings joy to my heart. Add in the benefit of others finding happiness in the creations I bring to life and I'm just over the moon. My nephew Carter was born and I put together my very first quilt for him. So of course I dove in further and started following Rob Appell of Man Sewing and Jenny Doan from Missouri Star. Some fabric designers I prefer are Michael Miller, Wilmington, Kaffe Fassett, Riley Blake and Moda.  I have enjoyed building my skill set over the past few years and built the confidence to create Sew Rusty. I will continue to build skills to bring new itmes available as I can. I look forward to working with you to bring quality pieces to you, your friends and families.
